Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using PawCommunity (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
2. What PawCommunity is
PawCommunity is a community platform that helps people report stray animals, locate feeding points and shelters, coordinate rescues, and facilitate pet adoptions. We do not operate shelters, employ rescue workers, or guarantee any animal welfare outcomes. All rescue activity is voluntary and community-driven.
3. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@pawcommunity.org if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: post false or misleading reports, upload content that is hateful, violent, or sexually explicit, use the App for commercial solicitation without permission, attempt to access other users' accounts, or disrupt or overload our infrastructure. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.
5. Content you submit
When you submit a report, photo, or message, you grant PawCommunity a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and share that content within the App and on our public channels (e.g. social media) for the purpose of animal welfare. You retain ownership of your content. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.
6. Donations
Donations made through PawCommunity are processed by Stripe. By donating, you agree to Stripe's terms and conditions. Donations are used to fund animal food, medical care, shelter, and operational costs. We publish a spending breakdown in the App. Donations are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Coordinators and volunteers
Coordinator and volunteer roles are granted by PawCommunity administrators. These roles carry additional responsibilities. Coordinators are expected to respond to assignments promptly and act in the best interest of the animals. PawCommunity reserves the right to revoke roles for inactivity or misconduct.
8. No warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, that reports will result in rescues, or that information in the App is accurate. Animal welfare situations can be unpredictable and we are not liable for outcomes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawCommunity and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including harm to any person or animal. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you donated to us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@pawcommunity.org. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, but these terms otherwise survive.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bali, Indonesia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
